I guess most people don't start going to a chiropractor unless they are in pain. This was certainly true for me. I started having terrible lower back pain. I couldn't bend over or step up. How could this happen to me? I was in good shape. I have been doing weight training for years. I walk my dog, love to garden, play with my grandson, and love to dance. When I looked in the mirror and saw how crooked I was, I was worried. I was falling apart!
My daughter encouraged me to find a good chiropractor. I looked for the best and found Dr. Tremblay. Within a couple of weeks of treatment I felt fine. I thought about quitting, but then it happened, "chiropractic euphoria". I started feeling better than fine and becoming more aware of my body. The adjustments, exercise and myotherapy have pushed me to a new place. Small changes in my body have started happening.
My balance has improved, the small red veins in my eyes have disappeared, my voice has gotten stronger. I have become more aware of my posture, started stretching more, and have been able to handle stress better. My husband had a terrible cold over Christmas and I didn't get it!
Going to AHCHC has helped me to feel like I am working on my whole self and trying to be more proactive in living.
