Elizabeth Fetherston
Usually when I introduce myself I will start with my name, Elizabeth Fetherston. Right now, I want to introduce myself as a maintenance/15 year patient of chiropractic care.
In the last 20 years I have had four traumas to the head due to injury and a back injury. The pain from the back injury pushed me to seek a solution beyond Motrin, a heating pad, and bed rest. Since that day I have been blessed to have improved health with the maintenance of my skeletal frame. I view my skeletal frame and it’s functions much like my car. It is only as good as you keep it aligned and taken care of. Granted I work hard to lose weight long term, exercise and eat right, but these are all much easier when I am aligned correctly.
I recently moved here from Washington, D.C. and the drive cross country took quite a toll on my body. I was a mass of rubber bands twisted together and tight. I was referred to Dr. Carrell in late July and have been grateful since that day. From the initial exam to the re-exam, the adjustment treatments worked and Dr. Carrell was able to improve mobility in areas where I thought they would never improve. I mentioned four traumas to the head--one bike accident, two car accidents, and one roller blading accident; these resulted in my limited ability to look upwards with my neck. At my initial exam I was able to look up to 27 degrees and with significant pain, we found at my re-exam that I could look up to 50 degrees without pain. My quality of life significantly improved---the best part was being able to look upwards to kiss my very tall (6'2") handsome husband. I was not able to do that before without a great deal of pain in the 10 years we had been married :o)
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Fetherston
