Fitness at Alamo Heights Chiropractic Health Center

Alamo Heights Chiropractic Health Center offers a variety of options to improve your fitness level.  Muscle tone is an integral part of a healthy body and has a tremendous impact on how you move and feel.  The right exercise will improve your posture and make you strong enough to enjoy the activities you enjoy for years or decades to come.  Exercise and sensible nutrition are key to achieving and maintaining your ideal body mass and weight.

HIIT class - (High-intensity interval training) is an exercise strategy that is intended to improve performance with short training sessions. HIIT is a form of cardio which is beneficial to burning fat in a short and intense workout. Our HIIT sessions run 20-45 minutes. Using a protocol set at 3:1 ratio for work to recovery periods. The training intensity required here is quite a bit more than the beginner’s workout. This workout might be enough for many people to get into serious shape without stepping up the intensity again.
