I visited my first Chiropractor while playing High School sports; for several years I had experienced back pain.  As this pain increased it affected every part of my life; I had difficultly walking, sleeping, and not to mention sports.  After visiting multiple Doctors and Specialists the only diagnosis was a request to stretch more and pain medication, but nothing was helping.  As a last resort I visited a local Chiropractor and was amazed at the immediate relief my body felt, not to mention it allowed me to complete my senior year of sports.  From that point on I was aware of the benefits of Chiropractic care, but I only went when my pain would become too much.  Fifteen years later I had chronic neck and back pain and almost constant headaches but lived with it because no one was able to find a reason or treatment.  I visited Alamo Heights Chiropractic on the direction of my current family doctor in lieu of taking pain medication for an unrelated rib injury.  I thought I knew what to expect when I entered their doors, but I have been amazed at the level of detail that Alamo Heights Chiropractic takes in their overall health and wellness approach to treatment.  From the mandatory spinal health care class to the handouts and home work, Alamo Heights Chiropractic has improved my physical well being.  Over the last 6 months my neck, back, and headache pain have all but disappeared.  These benefits have positively effected my work, home, and fitness and allowed me start a new exercise program while continuing my efforts toward a healthier lifestyle.
