Lorena Salazar, L.M.T.

I was born in Huntington Park, California and raised in Apple Valley. My family moved to San Antonio in 1994. Initially studying to be a lab tech at St. Phillips College, I changed to massage therapy when I noticed that my family was always tense and could not relax. I have been married for 8 years and am a mother to two beautiful children. I spend as much time with my family as I can. In my spare time I enjoy reading and cooking.

I have 9 years of experience as a massage therapist, and have been here at AHCHC enhancing health and wellness through relaxing bodywork since 2007. I am passionate about massage therapy and am committed to providing the best service to everyone who comes into AHCHC. I look forward to treating you soon!

I have training in many different types of massage including Deep Tissue, Russian, Swedish, Sports, Injury, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Cranial Sacral, Acupressure, and Trigger Point Therapy. When I’m not working or hanging out with my kids, I enjoy anything outdoors. I also always have a book I’m reading and love good book recommendations. I look forward to meeting you and helping you feel your best.

Chelsea Peeler, Chiropractic Assistant

I was born in Austin, TX and raised in Europe as the child of a mother in the United States Air Force.  In high school, I was actively involved in volleyball until my senior year when a knee injury halted my ability to play.  This lead me to work in the athletic training department which allowed me to stay connected with organized sports.

I am currently attending Northeast Lakeview College pursuing a B.S. degree in Kinesiology.  When I graduate, I hope to become a physical therapist, so that I will be able to help people improve their physical health and well being.  Working at AHCHC with our doctors and staff, is the perfect place to help me see what my future will be.  Running the office from the front desk gives me a unique view on how important it is to follow the treatment plan the doctors have designed for your successful rehabilitation.  We see success stories every day.  I am here to help make your experience the best possible and help you reach your goals and become one of our great success stories.
