My name is Yvette Miller.  I have been coming to Alamo Heights Chiropractic for about three years.  My journey here began when I injured my back a few months after the birth of my second child, Sterling.  I scheduled an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon and had tests run.  He suggested I take anti-inflammatories and take it easy.  After taking the medicine, which made my stomach sick, I did not get better.  I spoke with a friend of mine and explained my situation, and she told me about her great experience here and encouraged me to give it a try.  Well, after the third round of re-injuring my back and staying bed bound for four or five days each time, and being offered little to no help from the orthopedist, I scheduled my first appointment with Alamo Heights Chiropractic.

I came faithfully to my appointments bringing my two year old daughter and brand new baby.  After learning that my newborn son had torticollis (wry neck) at approximately the same time, I also scheduled him to have adjustments.  Very soon after that, my son and I did start to become much better.  Dr. Tremblay was great with Sterling.  Her great confidence in treating him allayed some of my worst anxiety in having a very young child adjusted!  Dr. Tremblay was great with Sterling.  He did so well, his torticollis completely resolved and he is a very happy, healthy three and a half year old.

Dr. Tremblay and her staff encouraged me to have complete health and wellness by maintaining a regular workout routine, eating correctly and getting regular chiropractic adjustments.  After seeing how well my son and I have done, my five year old daughter now gets regular adjustments.  She even asks to come see Dr. Tremblay after she hurts her back playing and jumping and getting hit in the back by her little brother!!!  Now, on the encouragement of our daughter, my husband, Michael, has started coming to AHC.  One day my husband strained some muscles in his back and our daughter Sydney said, “Daddy, I wish you would go to the chiropractor for your back because when my back hurts, Mommy takes me to get an adjustment and I feel much better!”

My family and I are very grateful for Dr. Tremblay and her wonderful staff here.  We are all feeling great without having to take conventional medicine.  I share my story with those around me who suffer with back problems and encourage them to get chiropractic treatment as well.  I am so glad I have somewhere that my family and I can go to get great all around care with such a fantastic doctor and staff.  Thank you, Alamo Heights Chiropractic, in helping to keep us healthy.
