  I began receiving chiropractic treatment five years ago at the insistence of my then 11 year old son Nicholas and my husband, Duane.  Duane had been under Dr. Carrell's care for several years due to back problems and Nicholas had recently been treated for a sprained neck.  After I complained of a neck ache they both told me I would be crazy to not go to Dr. Carrell to get help.  So, I went.  Needless to say, my neck was soon feeling better and I was impressed with the quality, personal care I received.  I soon brought my other two sons, Max and Will, who were then 13 and 8 into the office for a baseline exam.  My entire family has since been under the care of Dr. Carrell and the entire staff at Alamo Heights Chiropractic.  They got Nicholas' bad back through soccer tryouts and he made the team, they have phone consulted with Will late on a Friday night to get him through some frightening neck pain and they have managed to get Duane walking upright when the rest of us weren't sure we'd ever see him stand up straight again.  As for me, this office has seen me through many tough surgeries, even visiting me in the hospital.  Dr. Carrell has answered the call at odd hours and stressful times and has always been available to myself and more importantly, she has always been there for my family.  That kind of care is hard to come by and that's why I don't think of this as just my Doctor's office but also a place where I go to see friends. 

     I am lucky to be a patient of chiropractic and blessed that that this is where I receive my care.
