         About a year ago I started experiencing unexplained, chronic headaches.I first started with my internist who ordered an MRI that came back negative.He then provided me pain pills and sent me to a neurologist.The neurologist took me off the pain pills, put me on an anti anxiety medication and told me there was nothing wrong with me.I then went to a spine and neck specialist who also said there is nothing wrong I was extremely frustrated as the pain was so intense that it started affecting my work and personal life. I did more research and decided to visit the AlamoHeightsChiropracticCenter.
        After my initial exam and interview, I was presented with a diagnoses and detailed plan to help me with my headaches.For the first time, I felt like I was listened to, which gave me the hope that I could improve my medical situation.Repositioning my head from 2 inches forward and crouched to a more normal upright posture sounds simple, but I assure you it is not.Even at my young age, I was already showing signs of degeneration caused by high stress at work, bad posture, poor ergonomics, and past accidents.
        What I didn*t expect from a chiropractic clinic was the overall caring of every employee throughout the treatment process.Not only do they help you with your immediate issues, but they also show a passion for your overall wellness.For example, I had my normal adjustments and therapy, but they also stressed exercises for home and work.I also received counseling on ergonomics, help with diet and nutrition ideas, and I was even asked to bring my blood work results after a routine physical for additional review.
        I have made significant improvements from where I started my medical journey.The daily headaches are 98% gone and the people important in my life have seen a big change in my overall health and attitude.I didn*t realize how the pain was affecting all the aspects of my life and I am thankful of the entire staff of AH ChiropracticHealthCenter for helping me regain the person I once was.
