Meet the Staff

Jeff Carrell, R.M.T.

I am the Fitness Specialist for the clinic, and the doctor’s brother. I grew up in Pasadena, got my degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and have lived in San Antonio for twelve years. I came by my exercise background through a circuitous route. My anatomy and physiology training in college, massage school, at the Cooper Institute and a variety of additional training around the country give me a different perspective than most personal trainers. We frequently do rehabilitation work at the clinic and it is the eight years I have spent here working with patients that has given me the richest training on improving function. We look at exercise a little differently at Alamo Heights Chiropractic Health Center. In addition to conventional training we provide state of the art equipment like the PowerPlate, mixed apparatus both innovative and time proven, and will soon be offering a variety of classes in our gym. For exercise a little different, and more effective come and see us soon.

Robert Baldwin, R.M.T.

I attended the  European Massage Therapy Institute in San Antonio and have been a massage therapist since 1997 and a personal trainer since 2003. I specialize in deep tissue massage. I have been trained in myofascial release, PNF stretching, reflexology, Lypossage, and trigger point therapy. I enjoy working with athletic injuries in order to quicken the rehabilitation time. I have experienced success working on the following: headaches (migraine), stiff necks, rotator cuff strain, tennis/golfer’s elbow, wrist/finger pain, mid and low back pain/stiffness, hip pain, knee pain, and plantar faciitis.

Currently, I am a senior at U.T.S.A. working towards a degree in Exercise Science with a minor in business administration. In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and golfing.

Lorena Salazar, R.M.T.

I was born in Huntington Park, California and raised in Apple Valley. My family moved to San Antonio in 1994. Initially studying to be a lab tech at St.PhillipsCollege, I changed to massage therapy when I noticed that my family was always tense and could not relax. Upon completion of my studies I started working for DASA Spa Therapies performing spa treatments, swedish and therapeutic massage. After five and a half years I moved to The Woodhouse Spa. I have the passion and commitment to provide the best service to all of my patients and look forward to treating you soon.

Lani Prado

I am one of the newest team members at AlamoHeightsChiropracticHealthCenter. I was born in San Antonio and spent my childhood in various places as an Army brat. My family returned to San Antonio upon my father's retirement and I love this city!

I married my high school sweetheart and we have a son who is 12-years-old.  I graduated from San AntonioCollege with an Associates Degree in 2000 and have worked as a Legal Assistant for a criminal attorney, as a Legal Editor for a trial report magazine and as a transcriber for closed-captioning with a local multimedia company.

I was enticed by the "teamwork" philosophy and constant continuing education mindset of the AHCHC team, and I am enjoying learning how to run the office at Alamo Heights Chiropractic (thanks to all for your patience as I learn the ropes!) and everyone, staff and patients, have made me feel at home.  It has been a pleasure to get to know the patients of AHCHC thus far, and I hope to continue to greet you with a smile and assist in sending you away feeling you have been treated with kindness and genuine compassion!

Jennifer Stecker, R.M.T.

I am new to San Antonio and am excited to be back in a warm climate! I grew up in Seattle and have lived in Phoenix, Idaho, and Salt lake City. I attended BYU-Idaho in 1998 and fell in love with anatomy and pathology. I became a mom in 2001 and stayed at home with my kids until my divorce in 2006. Soon after, I attended the Utah College of Massage Therapy. I have a passion for bodywork and love helping my patients experience optimal health through the many benefits of massage.

I have training in many different types of massage including Deep Tissue, Russian, Swedish, Sports, Injury, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Cranial Sacral, Acupressure, and Trigger Point Therapy. When I’m not working or hanging out with my kids, I enjoy anything outdoors. I also always have a book I’m reading and love good book recommendations. I look forward to meeting you and helping you feel our best!

Holly Harrison, M.Ed.

I was born and raised in Wichita Falls, TX.  I married my husband, Oliver, after our first year of college, and we moved back to Lubbock, TX to attend Texas Tech University.  There, I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master's degree in Counseling. Most of all, I am am passionate about helping other people live happy, healthy lives!  Specifically, I am very interested in nutrition and plan to soon begin a master's degree in Holistic Nutrition.  My passion for natural health care developed out of my own experiences as a chiropractic patient.  As a patient, I discovered the impact diet and fitness have on one's overall health, and the incredible role a healthy spine plays in the functioning of every system in the body.  Chiropractic will always be a part of my life!  My husband and I don't have any children yet, but I imagine that will change over the next few years.  I spend most of my spare time listening to music, watching movies and sports, and reading just about anything to do with nutrition nd natural health.  I am very excited to join the team at AHCHC and can't wait to be a part of your life as a patient!
